If you want to integrate your own system with the Jinius Marketplace using the available APIs, you will most likely need the API Key of your account.
To get the API Key, what you need to do is:
- Log into the Marketplace Back-office using an account that has admin access.
- Go to the Menu > Personal settings.
- Go to the "API Key" tab. Here, if there is already a value in the "API Key" field, you can go to step #5.
If you don't, go to "Actions" > "Generate new API Key".
- In the window that appears, type the word "GENERATE" and press "Generate".
- Once the API Key is generated, click on the "Copy API Key" and use it where required.
- To reduce the number of notification emails you receive, next go to "Notification preferences" and disable the "Offer notifications":
Note 1: We recommend doing step #6 to avoid getting a large number of automated emails due to the integration that can be triggered very often.
Note 2: If your shop account has multiple users, Step #6 needs to be done by every user for their own account.
