1. What is the Car Dealers Portal?
The Car Dealers Portal is a secure platform that enables dealers to manage financing proposals, monitor financing application progress, and upload supporting documents as part of the Bank of Cyprus financing process.
2. Which platform should I use for vehicle listings and financing management?
Vehicle listings are managed through Mirakl, while financing proposals and application updates are managed through the Car Dealers Portal.
3. How do I access the Car Dealers Portal?
You can access the portal using your Jinius Business account credentials created during the registration process. If you have any access issues, please contact Jinius Support.
4. How do I access Mirakl?
Access to Mirakl is provided as part of the onboarding process. If you have not received access details or are unable to log in, please contact Jinius Support.
5. How do I add, update or remove a vehicle listing?
Vehicle listings are managed through Mirakl. For detailed instructions on creating, updating or removing listings, please refer to the Vehicle Listing Creation User Guide.
6. What information should be included in a vehicle listing?
Dealers should provide accurate and complete vehicle information, including key details such as brand and model, year, mileage, specifications, price, and images. For detailed listing requirements and instructions, please refer to the Vehicle Listing Creation User Guide.
7. What if the final vehicle price agreed with the customer is different from the price displayed in the Marketplace?
You can create a new indicative financing proposal through the Car Dealers Portal using the final price agreed with the customer. The new indicative proposal will be based on that agreed price.
8. How can indicative financing proposals be initiated?
Indicative financing proposals can be initiated by customers through the Cars Marketplace or directly by dealers through the Car Dealers Portal.
Customer-initiated proposals are automatically recorded in the Car Dealers Portal for the relevant vehicle without displaying customer identity details. Dealers may also create proposals directly within the portal.
9. How does the QR Code process work in the Cars Marketplace?
For vehicles eligible for online financing:
- The customer adjusts their preferred contribution amount and repayment period using the financing calculator of the vehicle listing.
- Indicative financing options are displayed.
- The customer selects View Proposal in the BoC Mobile App.
- A unique QR Code is generated, and an indicative financing proposal is automatically created in the Car Dealers Portal for the selected vehicle without displaying customer identity details.
- If the customer chooses to scan the QR Code, they are redirected to the BoC Mobile App, where they must log in using their Bank of Cyprus credentials. Once logged in, they can view the indicative financing proposal.
- If they wish to proceed, the customer can complete and submit the financing application within the app.
- The dealer receives application status updates through the Car Dealers Portal. Once the financing application is submitted, the applicant's name becomes visible to the dealer.
- The application will be assessed by Bank of Cyprus in accordance with its applicable eligibility criteria, lending policies, and approval processes.
10. When can I see the customer’s name?
For proposals initiated through Cars Marketplace, the customer’s details are not requested at the indicative proposal stage. If the customer proceeds with a formal application and provides the relevant consent, the applicant’s details become available through the Car Dealers Portal.
For proposals created directly by dealers through the Car Dealers Portal, the customer’s name is visible when the proposal is created.
11. When and from whom will I receive the down payment?
Any down payment relating to the vehicle purchase is agreed and paid directly between the customer and you. Applying for financing does not reserve the vehicle.
12. How can I track a financing application?
Application status updates are made available through the Car Dealers Portal, allowing dealers to monitor the progress of submitted customer applications.
13. What documents do I need to upload to the Car Dealers Portal?
Once the status changes to "Documents Signed" in the portal, you are required to upload the following supporting documents:
- Vehicle registration certificate
- Vehicle invoice
- Payment receipt(s)
14. Where are the uploaded documents being sent?
Vehicle documents uploaded through the Car Dealers Portal are processed as part of the financing journey and made available to Bank of Cyprus.
15. Can I view customer financial information?
No. You do not have access to customer financial information or credit assessment details. You can only view the applicant's name, requested financing amount and application status updates through the Car Dealers Portal.
16. What should I do if a customer experiences issues with their application?
You should advise the customer to contact the Bank of Cyprus Call Centre on 800 00 800 or speak with their assigned banker.
17. How do I ensure my vehicle listings remain accurate?
You should keep vehicle information up to date in Mirakl, including availability, pricing, and specifications. When a vehicle is sold, the stock and availability information should be updated as soon as possible to prevent customer enquiries about unavailable vehicles.
